Technical Auditor Jobs description
A technical auditor job involves developing and implementing audit plans of internal business processes, application systems, general controls, and technical infrastructure. A technical auditor develops recommendations to business unit and IT management based on audit findings to enhance and improve operations. A technical auditor also reports on audit findings and resolution to company senior management and monitors the status of corrective action plans to ensure they are being implemented. A technical auditor will conduct maintenance department audits and evaluate internal compliance with established policies practices and procedures. A technical auditor will also conduct inspection and audit of owner supplied material and contractor\'s supplied materials in compliance with material specifications and technical descriptions as prescribed in the contract.A technical auditor job requires a bachelors degree in accounting or information systems. A technical auditor must have a minimum of 2 years experience in project management. A technical auditor must have good communication skills (written and oral) and excellent interpersonal skills.
