Intermediate Auditor Jobs description
An intermediate auditor job involves participating and leading ongoing audits of operational policies and procedures. An intermediate auditor will be responsible for developing internal audit plans for specific audits including conduct of preliminary survey, preparation of audit plans and procedures and completion of fieldwork phase of the audit. An intermediate auditor will also formulate findings, conclusions and recommendations to effectively communicate the results of the audit; will provide advice to managers throughout the department on a broad range of operational, financial, managerial, and internal audit matters; and will work to meet standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing as promulgated by various government bodies.An intermediate auditor job requires completion of or enrollment in a post-secondary business program or related discipline or related professional program. For an intermediate auditor’s job audit or accounting training or related experience is desirable but not essential. An intermediate auditor must have strong analytical and investigative skills and must be organized, committed to accuracy, and able to meet deadlines.
