Financial Auditor Jobs description

Financial Auditors should have considerable knowledge and expertise in evaluating accounting records and determine the financial status of company/organization. They should have significant knowledge and expertise in reviewing numerous data, including material assets, liabilities, capital stock, surplus, income, and expenditures. Financial Auditors should also know how to maintain cash account which includes keeping a track of accounts receivable and payable. Should be able to authenticate journal and ledger entry, including cash entries, check payments, purchases, and expenses, as well as should be able to prepare financial reports and guide the management regarding source of funds and improving the financial position of the company.

A Financial Auditor should also be efficient enough to be able to present their data before shareholders, banks and anyone else with an interest in the company, as well as ensure that the company they are dealing with are not practicing any deception. Usually financial auditing process takes place once a year and during that period of time all financial aspects of the company/organization should be effectively evaluated and follow-up audit should also be done while comparing the results.
