Energy Auditor Jobs description
An energy auditor is responsible for carrying out audit for energy companies. An energy auditor often leads an audit team, identifies opportunities, and supports development of appropriate propositions. Further responsibilities may include calculating potential savings, issuing client reports with specific recommendations, managing client relationships, and delivering high quality advice to clients. An energy auditor may be required to carry out energy audits in client premises.An energy auditor is preferably an M.Tech in electrical/ mechanical engineering and has some audit experience. A B.E. in electrical/ mechanical/ chemical engineering/ energy management/ energy systems from a technical institute may also be suitable for such positions. An energy auditor with experience in energy audit, performance testing of power plant, knowledge of Kyoto protocol, and national energy legislations is at an advantage.
