Auditor Information Technology Jobs description
An auditor information technology job involves review to maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, audit procedures and testing analysis for the areas assigned, ensuring compliance with department standards. An auditor information technology professional conducts audits of information technology systems and applications for assigned areas; handles audit issues and strategies that have an impact beyond assigned business group or function and may have an enterprise-wide impact on the organization; and identifies and applies technology and other tools to improve the audit process and results. An auditor information technology professional will also identify changes in risk and level of risk on an ongoing basis and redeploy resources accordingly. Developing integrated audit plans in conjunction with external auditors in assigned business groups or function may also form part of duties.An auditor information technology job requires a BA or BS degree in information systems, accounting, finance, business, or other related areas. An auditor information technology professional should have 5+ years of audit or related experience, preferably in the financial services industry. Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions to complex technical issues is desirable.
