Inventory Auditor Jobs description
An inventory auditor job involves continuous accuracy check of perpetual inventory stock quantity records for material control and accounting purposes. An inventory auditor investigates discrepancies, locates error sources from inventories, and initiates corrective actions. Duties include advising the operating management on inventory/accounting problems and recommend improvements to the system. An inventory auditor also participates in the implementation of inventory system improvements as necessary. Monitoring and ensuring all inventory transactions, errors, and reports form part of responsibilities.An inventory auditor should have a high school diploma/GED along with some auditing experience. Computer proficiency in applications such as MS Excel, Word, Outlook, AS400, Warehouse Mgt system or SAP, are required for such positions. An inventory auditor job requires good quantitative and analytical skills.
