Eurofins National Service Center is searching for an Internal Auditor in Lancaster, PA. Internal Auditor responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
Key contact for coordinating and executing projects with the Group Internal Audit Team Developing, implementing and monitoring of controls across the Eurofins US companies Bringing objective and independent assessment of operations, financials and internal controls Ensuring compliance with company policies & procedures, reporting standards, local laws & regulations Identifying and measuring risks, evaluating existing controls and making recommendations Documenting current business processes, such as the revenue process, and implementing best practices for controls, and agreed upon improvement plans Documenting the flow of data through information systems Preparing annual operational plan for compliance and substantive testing engagements Managing local / regional audit missions and leading all phases of engagement (from planning to reporting) Coordinating with external auditors to perform control / substantive testing on their behalf Developing detailed project plans to monitor and track progress Ensuring that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget Sampling and testing quality KPIs for the NSC Participating in Group Finance Projects Occasionally traveling (up to 40%) to Eurofins BU sites for testing Preparing financial presentations for corporate and third party meetings Performing other duties as assigned The ideal candidate would possess :
Demonstrated knowledge and skills in designated areas Strong reasoning and problem solving skills Ability to handle multiple priorities Strong organization skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and willingness to work overtime Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills preferred Must be able to maintain confidential information High energy level, drive and a passion to win Intelligent, numerate with business acumen, fast thinker, eager to learn Courage and self-confidence to take initiatives and deal with risks Action-oriented with high work ethics Strong communication and interpersonal skills for the daily contact with the management of the division/BU and colleagues Able to work in a very dynamic, fast growing environment Feels comfortable in de-centralized organizations Excellent understanding of financial matters, thrifty and cost minded Basic Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree with an accounting or finance concentration and 3-5 years of experience in Internal Audit / Internal Controls / Compliance / SOX Preferred experience in public accounting with CPA, CIA, and/or CISA certification Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed.
