New York's premier organic juice company is seeking a Communications Coordinator to helm our rapid expansion. Juicing NYC since 1999, we currently have 11 locations with plans to double in the coming year. Our Communications Coordinator will be responsible for propelling, sustaining and developing **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s internal and external communication initiatives.
Under the direction of the Creative Director, this position promotes awareness of the organization and communicates with constituents through social media, marketing partnerships, public relations and communications. The incumbent will be a communications professional who enjoys working closely with a team and is passionate about **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s mission. A keen awareness of how to digest our brand and voice and an ability to disseminate them intact is imperative.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for defining and executing a social media strategy for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. and our Business Units across defined Social Media Networks including, but not limited to, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube
Manage and update all written content on website. Monitor the effectiveness of site using analytic software and make changes as required
Support our public relations agency to secure media coverage, coordinate deliveries of samples to press and execute press events
Work with vendors to create a campaign strategy for online marketing and local outdoor advertising.
Oversee annual giving of $200K to environmental organizations
Online Customer Service:
Respond to all customer and vendor inquiries via email
Manage our relationships with key VIP brand ambassadors as well as solicit new brand ambassadors
Bachelor’s degree and one to three years related experience in role with great emphasis on writing ability
Must be an excellent writer, detail oriented and have the ability to work under tight deadlines; a portfolio of prior work required
Exceptional organizational abilities and time management skills; ability to meet deadlines, multitask and prioritize
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher). Experience working with graphic designers and with graphic design software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator)
Creativity and flexibility essential. Must be diplomatic and have the ability to work well with people at all levels
Ability to communicate messages in a professional and engaging manner designed to generate support in a target audience
