Staff Auditor: The Staff Auditor is an entry level internal audit position and is responsible for assisting in evaluating the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls. This position will assist with preparing audit work papers and reporting audit findings and recommendations to the supervising auditor for financial, operational and/or integrated audits. Position Responsibilities: * Execute and document audit program tests for financial, operational, and/or integrated audits and express an opinion on the adequacy of the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls. * Develop work papers that support test performed and conclusions reached. * Analyze root cause of audit issues, develop practical recommendations and appropriately document and communicate to client. * Demonstrate ability to quickly grasp concepts and practice active listening. * Maintain appropriate, constructive and professional relationships with clients and colleagues by building appropriate rapport and using diplomacy and tact. * Use scheduling and time management tools with the goal to achieve high utilization and productivity. * Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills * Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills * Understands discretion and confidentiality * Communicate effectively and share knowledge and information with the audit team. * Interact effectively with client personnel and colleagues (verbal and written communications). * Assist with completion of the annual Audit Plan by managing and completing work within budgeted timeframes, dates and schedules. Travel: * Travel is required up to 10-15% of the time. Relocation: * Relocation is not available for this position. * Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics OR Accounting from an accredited university * 3.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) * 3 Accounting classes (3.0 average GPA) * 1 year of customer service experience * 1 year of team project/project management experience * 1 year of experience Microsoft Office products, Word and Excel Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
