Job Description :
Audits and documents cost analysis recommendations of indirect elements on a variety of proposals for development, production and sustainment of major systems. Analyzes supplier's projected estimated costs for reasonableness, reviewing in detail the significant indirect cost elements for compliance with FAR, GAAP, and CAS cost principles.
Develops test plans, assesses control environments and project issues and develops resolutions and/or recommendations to meet compliance, productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals, objectives, and requirements. Documents work in accordance with IIA and internal department standards. Develops reports and recommendations. Provides negotiation support as required. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving
Travels as required to perform testing at supplier locations domestically and internationally.
-Proficient in the application of FAR, CAS, and GAAP principles to the evaluation of supplier accounting systems.
-Strong analytical and excel skills.
-Accounting or Finance Degree and Masters Degree in related field
-Audit experience with business systems
-Audit experience with large public accounting firm
-Audit experience with subcontract audits.
-Ability to travel internationally
• Knowledge of FAR, CAS, MMAS, Estimating, Procurement, and MRP systems
• Understanding of IIA Principles
• Previous Program Finance or Financial Planning & Analysis
• IIA Certification, or CFE certification
• Black Belt or Green Belt
Advanced written and oral communication skills and customer service orientation.
