We\u2019re looking for someone who can: \u2013 conduct technology application reviews and audits of specific business areas in the Corporate Center, provide practical, innovative and value-added solutions to issues identified \u2013 analyze and assess technology risks in one or more of the Corporate Center functions(Finance\/Operations\/Compliance and Operational Risk Control\/Legal\/Credit Risk\/Market Risk\/HR) \u2013 review and assess IT general controls and application controls \u2013 identify and evaluate the effectiveness of technology controls designed to address those risks \u2013 prepare reports of audit findings for UBS senior management, monitor the results, risk profile and developments across GIA network and provide input for planning sessions Your team You will be working in the Group Internal Audit team. GIA\u2019s role, as an independent function, is to support UBS in achieving its strategic, operational, financial and compliance objectives. We do this by assessing key processes as well as governance, risk management and the control environment within all business divisions and Corporate Center functions globally. We are independent in our work and report directly to the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee. Your experience and skills You have: \u2013 a university degree \u2013 previous audit experience (5 years) in application audit in one or more of the business\/technology areas: Finance\/Operations\/Operational Risk Control\/Legal\/Credit Risk\/Market Risk within the financial industry \u2013 strong analytical skills and willingness to keep up with industry, regulatory developments and learn new concepts and methods \u2013 a detailed understanding of banking operations and regulations as well a quantitative approach to problem solving You are: \u2013 reliable when working independently, with sound judgment for when to escalate issues \u2013 risk focused, and capable of using basic data analytics \u2013 a flexible and committed team player willing to travel to other UBS locations for audit assignments \u2013 curious and willing to discover all aspects of the bank, with the ambition to advance your career in an international environment.
