The GAC team consists of approximately 370 associates in locations throughout the world. Job Summary As a Quality Auditor at Spectrum Brands Global Auto Care division you will be responsible for conducting audits during manufacturing and distribution processes to ensure that products and documentation comply with established standards. This position will be covering 2nd shift. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Perform daily inspections on product and processes to ensure conformance to established standards. Conduct general plant area audits Communicate findings with team members, leads, supervisors and managers to ensure information is shared and corrective actions are put in place. Review in-process and completed documentation for completeness and correctness, including verification of results for required quality checks such as torque, fill weights, material verifications, etc. Support Production team with first article inspections during line start ups and changeovers Assist Quality Team as required Help identify opportunities for improving processes and procedures Education and Experience Profile Minimum of a high school diploma and two or more years of relevant work experience. Previous Quality experience is a plus. Prior knowledge of the consumer goods industry preferred but not required. Required Skills Communicate effectively within the organization. Ability to record, process, and compile data accurately. Effective organization, time management and multi-tasking skills. Completes work accurately and effectively. Able to respond to changing priorities. Ability to work in a shift environment where some weekend hours are required. Work Environment Working conditions are normal for a plant\/office\/manufacturing environment.
