Job Description Lehigh Technical & Professional Service is a leading staffing agency dating back to the 1950's. We specialize in temporary and direct placement positions in the fields of: IT, Engineering, Manufacturing, Accounting and Administrative. We are currently partnering with a leading consumer products distribution company in their search for an Internal Staff Auditor. The Internal Auditor (IA), under the direction of the Internal Audit Manager, will work to document and audit current company processes. The IA will execute an extensive series of consulting services to the business to assess internal controls and performance. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: The IA is responsible for all phases of the audits, including planning, testing, and creating recommendations Mapping and implementing procedures in agreement with the company guidelines, recommending operational improvements The IA is expected to affect sound and impartial ruling to ensure observance with internal audit guidelines and proactively control divergence in sensitive circumstances Assist with AD-HOC projects Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, & LICENSES: B.A. in Business Administration or B.S. in Accounting EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 3 years of experience in Auditing or an Accounting function Knowledge of Internal Controls CPA or CIA preferred General accounting knowledge is preferred Experience with Client is a plus SKILLS/ABILITIES: Excellent phone, verbal, and written communication skills Strong PC skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Visio) Self-starter that can operate under limited guidance at times Detail oriented, highly organized, and multi-task oriented Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under minimal supervision High level of initiative and follow through The ability to be involved in several projects and tasks with regularly varying priorities and developing concerns The proper discipline and knowledge to construct associations and employ peers and customers, comprehend their production requirements, while maintaining independence
