conducts audits and reports the results of our work to the Audit & Examinations Committee of the Board of Directors. We provide independent, objective assurance and consulting services delivered through a highly competent and diverse team. As a business partner, Audit helps the Company accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
WFAS is seeking talented college graduates with curriculum/degrees in management information systems (MIS), data analytics, computer programming, or other technology centric curriculum to join its Technology audit team as an Associate Auditor. We are currently recruiting for several Associate Auditor positions to support the work performed by our Technology Audit team and our Data Analytics teams. The Technology Audit team is responsible for auditing technology across the enterprise. Our Data Analytics teams are contained within our line of business teams and perform analytics that are used in testing and monitoring metrics and data.
The Associate Auditor Program is an exciting place to begin your career. This 12-month professional development program will expose you to technology audits that support several areas of the company and allow you to develop critical skills in internal audit, leadership, and communication.
Associate Auditors participate in basic audit projects as directed by auditors-in-charge. They are responsible for developing and applying basic audit skills while performing test work in technology audits; applying WFAS knowledge to audits; documenting work performed according to WFAS standards and policy; identifying audit exceptions and issues; making recommendations to management; and discussing findings with auditors-in-charge, supervisors, and business partners.
The Associate Program provides exceptional grounding for those seeking careers in financial services. Upon successful completion of the program, you will remain with Audit Services.
As an Associate Auditor you will:
Learn the fundamentals of financial services, auditing, and risk analysis in both classroom and on-the-job training.
Take part in a range of audit projects on the Technology Audit team or within Data Analytics teams that will expose you to a multitude of Wells Fargo businesses.
Interface with various levels of business management and team members.
Benefit from a strong learning curriculum and ongoing professional development offerings that underscore a strong commitment to continuous learning.
Receive continual feedback, coaching, and mentoring during the program.
Travel approximately 25%

3 months of experience in one or more of the following audit skill sets: control testing, control and risk identification or analysis; or a BS/BA degree or higher in business, accounting, finance, or information systems
Audit experience at a large financial institution or auditing company.
A BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or business administration
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Basic Microsoft Office skills, with advanced skills in Excel
Other Desired Qualifications
Previous Wells Fargo internship experience with recommendation of manager
Prior work experience, internship, or work/study program in technology, information systems, or data analysis.
Course work in management information systems (MIS), data analytics, computer programming, or other technology centric curriculum
Four year undergraduate degree obtained between June 2016 - June 2019*
Strong academic results
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
