Vibra Healthcare is seeking a Corporate Coding Auditor to join our team!

This position can be remote and located anywhere in the country.

The Corporate Coding Auditor perform functions of Corporate Coding Auditor ensuring the coding of medical records is accurate and meet regulatory and legal compliance with CMS, Medicaid and other federal and state regulatory agencies\bodies.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree required in Health Information Management.

Current RHIA, or RHIT, CCS, CCS-P Certification by the American Health Management Information Association or CPC certification by the American Academy of Professional Coders.

Minimum of 5 years of ICD-10CM\PCS and CPT coding experience in an acute care or long term acute, inpatient rehabilitation hospital environment.

Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist certification preferred.

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

Significant understanding and demonstrated knowledge of health information management programs including medical terminology, ICD-10 CM\PCS and CPT coding.

Extensive knowledge of federal, state and Joint Commission requirements.

Ability to gather and analyze and report data and trends.

Comprehensive knowledge of confidentiality and privacy laws.

Exceptional organizational skills.

Exemplary customer service, communication and interpersonal skills are absolutely imperative.

Demonstrated positive personal influences on teams and customers including the willingness to accept change proactively.

Must be flexible and responsive to needs of organization and possess ability to balance the needs of multiple priorities.

Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.

Excellent problem solving and solution oriented skills.

Ability to project a professional image.

Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.

Working knowledge and ability to apply professional standards of practice in job situations.

Working knowledge of personal computer and software applications used in job functions (word processing, graphics, databases, spreadsheets, etc.)

Freedom from use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
