**Compliance Audit Specialist - Spinal Graft Technologies**

The **Compliance Audit Specialist** performs the coordination and/or preparation of internal and external audits and compliance in accordance with regulatory standards (includes FDA and its equivalents outside the US as well as other government regulatory agencies / authorities). In this role, you will interpret government regulations and applicable standards as they apply to products, processes, practices and procedures. You will also implement policies and procedures to ensure that these are in compliance with the appropriate statutes and regulations and ensures that regulatory reporting requirements are met.

**A Day in the Life / Responsibilities:**

•Perform desktop and / or on-site audits as per schedule

•Perform or coordinate internal audits as per schedule

•Perform process improvement projects including but not limited to: streamline process(s), update procedures, forms, etc.

•Update applicable processes, procedures, and forms upon any change(s) in regulations and/or standards

•Support any internal/ external audit(s) at site

•Investigate and resolve temperature excursions, compliance problems, questions, or complaints received from other units of the company, customers, government regulatory agencies, etc.

•Take ownership of applicable CAPAs and non-conformances; investigate root cause, and support corrective action plans as needed.

•May trend and analyze audit data and present findings to management.

•May assist in managing recalls and field actions.

•May develop and implement programs designed to increase employee awareness and knowledge of compliance policies.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

•Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline

•2 years of experience in a Quality Assurance and /or Quality Control position in the medical device, biologics or pharmaceutical industry

•Experience in drafting procedures, protocols, forms, etc.

•Proficiency with investigative skills utilized in CAPA and non-conformances

•Experience in using computerized systems, e.g. Trackwise, SAP, LIMS etc.

•Familiarity with FDA regulations

•Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

**Preferred experience:**

•Critical thinking

•Troubleshooting skills

•Problem solving

•Strong communication skills, both oral and written

•Good interpersonal skills

•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

•Ability to work well under pressure and maintain positive, enthusiastic attitude

•Eagerness to learn and expand responsibilities

•Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong working relationships.

•Travel may be required
