The Global Revenue Accounting team produces the most prominent and anticipated information to Google investors quarterly, by ensuring accurate revenue and cost reporting in a timely manner. The team maintains reliability and credibility in the eyes of the financial markets. As a Senior Revenue Analyst for Ads, you'll join a team of Accounting professionals focused on controls for Google’s growth. You'll work closely with members of the Global Revenue Accounting team to design and maintain an effective and scalable internal control environment, identify areas of risk, promote recommendations on controls, and influence changes and decisions. You and your team will work closely with internal and external auditors to validate the accuracy and adequacy of controls in the Order-to-Report financial processes.

Assist to design and maintain an effective internal control environment for financial records; ensure accuracy of financial accounts and information related to Google.
Interpret the significance of control audit findings, draw analytical conclusions from audit data and promote recommendations.
Communicate with, and educate process owners (including engineering and other non-finance people) on the importance of controls, an effective control environment, and the role of the Revenue Accounting SOX team.
Partner with Engineering Compliance and other teams to define and communicate methodology and provide training on system scoping, control objectives, testing approach, deficiency evaluation and conclusion.
Work closely with members of the team to design and maintain an effective and scalable internal control environment over financial systems and records: SOX and ICFR, including ITGC and application controls.
BA/BS degree in Business, Accounting, Operations or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience in public accounting, IT Audit and/or SOX roles.
Experience with US GAAP, technical accounting and IFRS.
Operational experience including systems SOX, and controllership processes.
CPA/CA/CIA certification, or or equivalent practical experience.
Analytical skills, combined with impeccable business judgment and the ability to communicate effectively with management.
Ability to adapt and operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
