Primary Job Duties

Perform CASS audits to ensure the performance of the maintenance program.
Cognitively document and make decisions involving the compliance to SkyWest GMM and CAMP.
Process and audit aircraft documents with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Perform audits IAW SkyWest CASS.
Must effectively communicate and explain complex issues to coworkers clearly and concisely.
Exercise individual initiative and judgment to make decisions when necessary concerning the airworthiness of parts and materials.
Ensure that all aircraft, maintenance work, materials, and practices conform to the standards established by SkyWest Airlines GMM,CAMP
Must ascertain that all inspections are performed on all completed paperwork and that the proper inspection and maintenance records, reports, and forms required for release are properly executed.
Ensure compliance with RII requirements as dictated in the GMM..
Perform all other tasks as assigned by the Manager of Quality Assurance
Ensure Aircraft is maintained in accordance with SkyWest procedures.
Ensure compliance of CFRâ€™s.
Must be able to work unsupervised and be a self-starter.
Able to fluently read, write, speak and understand English.
Friendly and outgoing personality.
Self-motivated, team player.
Thorough knowledge of SkyWest policies and procedures.
Thorough knowledge of SkyWest inspection procedures.
Familiarity with CFR's and airworthiness directives.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Ability to conduct training as required.
Sufficient experience so as to be familiar with maintenance and inspection procedures pertaining to company CAMP, as defined in the GMM, and CFRs.
Knowledge of basic computer skills.
Knowledge of basic auditing techniques.
Knowledge of CASS
Trained in Root Cause Analysis
Posses creative writing skills
Knowledge of Steton a plus
Physical and Other Requirements
High School graduate or GED
Hold a valid A&P/Repairman Certificate
Be at least 18 years of age
Must be a U.S. Citizen or must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
Willing to work overtime when needed
Willing to work nights and holidays
Available to work various shifts and be able to comply with attendance requirements
