AIS Risk and Compliance Consultant, VP
The Business Risk and Compliance Team within AIS CAO office is seeking a candidate to assist in managing and implementing risk management and compliance initiatives by liaising with AIS Business Units globally. The ideal candidate will work with the AIS CAO and AIS Enterprise Risk Management and Corporate Compliance Manager, in the development of a Global Risk and Compliance Program to ensure that risk, audit, compliance matters are consistently mitigated through the Division globally on an on-going basis and to ensure issues raised are addressed and resolved timely and consistently though the Division globally.
The AIS Risk and Compliance Consultant, VP’s primary responsibilities are the following:
Project manage the implementation of key compliance and risk initiatives and in some cases assume management and oversight of the requirements after implementation is completed
Represent AIS in corporate committees and working group and be instrumental in driving outcome and resolution that bring efficiency and effectiveness to AIS and other Business Units across the corporation
Collaborate and partner with AIS Business Risk and Compliance Managers in implementing key compliance policies to ensure timelines set by Corporate Functions are met
Collaborate and partner with AIS Business Risk and Compliance Manager to ensure compliance of controls related to regulatory risks for all jurisdictions AIS operates in
Partner with Business Unit to drive resolution to mitigate risks across the Division globally
Lead the development of Risk and Compliance management reports for senior management and Risk Committees
Participate in AIS risk and compliance committees and manage its related activities
Oversee and facilitate the establishment of working groups to address the resolution of key risk initiatives
Contribute to the AIS risk awareness campaign
The VP may also participate in other functions within the Business Risk and Compliance Team including:
Participate with the implementation of a consistent processes and methodologies for tracking execution and reporting of compliance initiatives across the Division globally
Manage risk and compliance initiatives and projects including reporting of status and milestone tracking to management
Monitor the timely completion of risk and compliance issues with assigned business units and ensure actions are taken through remediation by responsible parties
Partner with Compliance in the implementation, review and revision of AIS Compliance Policies
Liaise with Corporate Compliance to understand legal and regulatory changes and provide effective change management within the Business Unit
Participate in other Risk and Compliance functions as required including management reporting, data analysis, project management and ad hoc issues management. Work with the AIS Business Units, Corporate Support functions and AIS ISO to perform duties.
The ideal candidate must possess the following:
• BA/BS required; MBA or CFA preferred or working towards an advanced degree or certification
• 4-7 years internal audit or public accounting experience is preferred
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and project management
Ability to act as a change agent and lead in a challenging environment
Ability to influence business unit leaders without direct oversight
Expert in Microsoft Access, Excel, and working knowledge in SharePoint
Ability to multitask and navigate competing priorities while persuading the Business Units to actively engage
