CompSource Mutual is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional for the position of Director of Internal Audit. This position will be responsible for formulating internal audit strategies, developing audit plans, and managing all planning associated with audit engagements. Additionally, this position will manage projects and supervise staff to follow sound internal control practices and to manage risks appropriately.
Chief Executive Officer/Board of Directors
Directs, plans and coordinates the departments activities, including assignment and review of work and ensure staff is properly trained. Ensures the planning, scheduling, and completion of duties are successfully achieved in accordance with company and departmental goals and policies. Directs audits of CompSources financial plans and policies, its accounting practices, the maintenance of its fiscal records and the preparation of financial reports. Oversees and participates in the preparation of audit reports for the President and Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors. Analyzes, interprets, and audits statistical and accounting information in order to appraise operating results in terms of compliance with established policy and other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness. Review, finalize and deliver audit reports; communicate audit findings and develop recommendations. Evaluate risk exposure relating to acheivement of the organization`s strategic objectives. Maintain a quality assurance and improvement program that covers all aspects of the internal audit activity.
Education and Experience
11 years of professional level experience as a CPA in accounting or auditing 6 years in a managerial, administrative, or supervisory capacity Certified Public Accountant required Certified Internal Auditor designation preferred

Salary is commensurate with experience. Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill all job-related travel.
