Associate Auditor Jobs
An associate auditor job involves executing the daily activities of audit engagements for the firm’s diverse clients. An associate auditor will be responsible for developing relationship with clients’ employees; will assist clients with routine accounting functions; will adhere to the firm's policies and procedures; and will draft financial statements under prescribed format, prepare portions of compilation, review, and audit engagements. An associate auditor should have a working knowledge of all microcomputer applications, which are routinely used in office. Being knowledgeable on accounting pronouncements and basic income tax issues is important.
An associate auditor should have a BA/ BS degree or equivalent from an accredited university and preferably a minimum 3.0 GPA with majors in accounting. An associate auditor should have 3 to 5 years of public accounting audit experience. Persons having CPA licensure are preferred for an associate auditor’s post.
